Vad's Armor​

Vad's armor is a compound of an advanced Lorica and ribbed plate design. The upper portion of the body piece consists of a Chest and shoulder girdle of laced plates that interlock to allow maximal freedom of movement in the pectoral region. The abdominal portion is composed of thin plates of segmented steel, for full midsection flexion and extension. The biceps are left bare, protected only by a thin shielding of leather wrapping, to protect his exposed upper and middle arms from superficial cuts and bruises. The arm guards are flared slightly, protecting the forearms and elbow, and are made of Katchin, allowing for full protection normally, and advanced attack and defense techniques while utilizing his Metal Binding ability. The lower half of the armor consists of interlocking plates down the thigh, met by metal greaves that wrap fully around the calf, and shield the wearer's kneecap. Riveted solid toe boots complete the set, crafted in such a manner that allows maximum pedal dexterity for running, performing acrobatic maneuvers on the balls of the feet and soft landing. The entire suit of armor, specially designed by Trixie, promotes full torso dexterity and ample lower body protection while still being durable and flexible enough to withstand the weathers of high speed or high impact combat.

Character Behavior
Vad is a ruthless antagonist. Vad inherited his fathers temper and ruthlessness in combat. In his early life Vad was a killing machine. No one was safe. Now, later in life he has become one of the good guys. Fighting to defend those he loves. Now that he is a father his one true purpose is to make sure that his daughter is safe. Despite his recent alignment change, Vad is still a ruthless presence on the battlefield. He is second to none in his melee ability and his efficiency in combat.

Super Saiyan 2. An ascended Saiyan. This form is achieved after incredible training in the use of the base Super Saiyan form by pushing beyond your power limit and unlocking a new plateau of raw power. Vad has completely mastered this form and is easily capable of transforming on the fly. While at full power he is surrounded by a violent golden aura which is filled with arcing electricity. His eyes turn a teal color and his hair spikes up into a golden hue. The form can be sustained as long as Vad has the stamina and energy to keep going.

Vad’s bread and butter for melee combat. He is capable of secreting liquid metal from his body using his energy. Using this metal he can coat his arms entirely, forming serrated blades made to vivisect his opponents. Vad’s armor is also made up of this metal and can be shaped into any kind required. From light field plate to a complete set of heavy full plate capable of withstanding serious blows. This metal can be altered on the fly as needed, be it to dissolve a blade for a strike with a fist or the creation of a shield to absorb an incoming blow.

There are two parts to Vad. His Saiyan blood and edgy personality form one side and his wife Beatrix, with her compassion and reason, brings out the other. Possessing his mind she can freely house herself within his thoughts and take corporeal form when she so chooses. The bond these two share is eternal. Vad feeds off of her skills with logistics, information gathering, as well as her mathematics and extensive knowledge in physics; Trixie, in return, feeds off of her husbands' skill on the battlefield and near genetic ability to fight. She behaves primitively, but it indirectly helps to mask her deep well of intelligence. While she doesn't compare to her husband in melee skirmishes, she's highly advanced in the use of ranged energy. Her knowledge of Saiyan anatomy also allows her to keep tabs on Vad's body. She can direct him where to take blows (if need be) to cause the least amount of damage.
