A tentative one, as of now.
My interest in potentially running a game of 40k (specifically the RPG, not the tabletop minis game). My current designs line up most heavily with Dark Heresy, specifically 2e though incorporating a bunch of content from 1e as well, where relevant and with necessary conversions.
These systems can be a bit of a bear, especially in the areas of math and keeping track of modifiers, but I have a (fairly) decent grasp of it all and I can/will help as necessary, so rest assured I will gladly lend a hand and make sure you don't miss anything obvious.
It would involve using Roll20 to host/store character sheets and for rolling dice, but would otherwise be played entirely here, via forum posting. Partially so that everyone can see and behold the utter misfortune and crowning moments of awesome (and awesomely hilarious) that tend to occur in these sorts of games, but also partially so that the pace of it can be slowed down a little and not force anyone to commit to a specific time for a sit-down hours-long session, and it has more availability to sort out those cursed things called "time zones".
Ideally, this would need at least 3 to 4 players, though in a stunning surge of insanity, I think the upper limit will be 8 players. Whether you've played before, or have no idea what this even is, you're more than welcome, if you have any interest. I can provide books and resources as needed, as well.
If you're interested, have any questions or just want to tell me I'm insane, drop a post here.

Kindly ignore the spoiler above, as it has served its purpose now. As I said I would, here are the base ground rules I have set in place for this game, to more easily find them:
• Activity -- I'm not going to pressure anyone about this. The whole point of doing this in this format is so that it can fit into people's schedules. Ideally, just checking in at least once a week to drop a quick post about what (if anything) your character is doing to help keep the investigation moving will be fine. More than that would be lovely. I might be a bit more of a stickler when combat (inevitably) arises, but we can deal with that when we get to it.
• Clarification -- To be clear in regards to the above: that is not a limit; If you want to do more, and roleplay your hearts out among each other, or with NPCs, DO IT! That's how you get to ask questions and do stuff like dig up information and make contacts, which will be very important for your in-character lives.
• OOC Commentary -- Keep it to a minimum in the IC thread. If you have something quick to do, like noting the use of items or special actions or etc, you can do so in a quote at the post's end. Keep any other OOC stuff, such as questions or anything like that, in here so we can keep it all flowing smoothly.
• Questions -- ASK THEM. Whether it's about lore your character might know even if you don't, if you want to know if something is possible before attempting it, if you're confused about a rule or rules. The only stupid question is one you don't ask!
• Test Bonuses -- I will be doing my damnedest to keep track of everything in this regard. But I can't catch literally everything, especially if it comes from inside your wacky brains. If you want to do something specific or unique, or something aside from the obvious that you think might be worth some kind of bonus, or if other party members want to pitch in and assist or something, then tell me about it! This system thrives on doing things unorthodoxly, and group effort against sometimes overwhelming odds!
