The group requisition can be anything up to Extremely Rare, and I'll roll for it with the Inquisitor's Influence to see if he can get it for you.

So in this game, we will be playing imperials instead of heretics like in Black Crusade? Interesting. My first session in the Black Crusade campaign didn't go so well a lot of tech issues and what not that caused it to end prematurely so I was unable to get a good feel of it but I did create a character sheet and was walked through a bit how so if the rules are similar that's fine. Also where will this be done? On the Discord server and Roll20 or will this be more theater of the mind?

We will be using roll20 to store character sheets and for dice rolls, but otherwise it will be theater of the mind and played here on the forum, in another thread I'll be making sometime around Monday. All of the 40k systems published by FFG are fairly similar in base mechanics, though they have some differences here and there.

And yes, in Dark Heresy you not only play Imperials, it's acolytes in the direct service of an Inquisitor.

Interesting. A bit weird to switch with character interactions and rp'ing to be done on this site in a thread and Roll20 for dice rolls. Or would it be like in between game rp'ing and chatting? With text based rp'ing also done on the Roll20 chat?

It's mostly because there's no real mechanic for easily storing character sheets, or doing dice rolls that everyone can see, on the site. And Roll20 is easy enough for such a basic need.

Roll20 will, as I said, only be used for those two things. Rest will be on here. It's being done that way because there won't be any dedicated block of time to sit down for an actual session, and it will just be played at whatever pace people can manage, to free up availability for people with a busy schedule, or whose timezone would have conflict with letting them have fun otherwise (love ya, Siggy! ).

I'll admit that does sound promising, count me in but I'll need help deciding on a character. Since Space Marines seem to be out of the question I was thinking maybe some kind of soldier dude but a badass one so I can go Doomguy style on enemies. Perhaps a Catachan Jungle Fighter or something similar. Or at least something that one of the other players hasn't already filled a role for. I can be a different type of Mechanicus that isn't a pilot for instance/example.

Yes, space marines are 100% out of the question, lol. They very rarely show up at all in Dark Heresy.

There is no reason to use the Inquisitorial requisition on the door bolters, given how infrequently we will be able to use it to start

Alrighty. I know the holidays (probably) still have some people busy and/or messed up and distracted, but the game is officially go for whenever people are ready to get underway and can do up their posts.

The first phase, aboard the transport toward Iocanthos, will move at whatever pace you all set. Soon as you're done with your introductions and interrogating/mocking/buying drugs from your 'contact', Sebek, let me know and we can progress to landing.
