Character Name: Tenshi Hinanawi
Character Source: Touhou Project 10.5 - Scarlet Weather Rhapsody
Profession: Loafing around
Physical Tendencies:
Abilities (€2150 / €2304):
Celestial Endurance (cost: €600)
Protection III (300)
— Ongoing (+300)
As an effect of the Celestial diet, Tenshi’s skin has become unusually tough. Her resilience is considered high, even to the powerful beings of Gensokyo.
(Focus Flavor) By eating one of the celestial peaches on her hat, she is able to boost her defense to incredible levels for a short period of time. Formally, this technique is known as the spell card Peach Sign “Hermit’s Peach of Steadfast Durability”.
Sword of Hisou (cost: €300)
Damage III (300)
— Removable (-150)
Debuff I (100)
— Ongoing (+100)
— Removable (-50)
Tenshi wields an ancient Celestial artifact — called the Hisou-no-Tsurugi — which grants her command of living beings’ spirits in the form of red mist. Though lacking its fiery blade by default, celestials like her can activate and thus use it. To any other person, it is as good as any other stick. This sword, which feeds on negative emotion, lacks weight but is definitely hot enough to slice through its enemies. It also drains their spirit, making them more tired with every hit they take.
Keystone Formation (cost: €150)
Variable Creation I (200)
— Concentration (-50)
Tenshi has the ability to form keystones. For now, the size of stones she can make seems to be greatly reduced. Keystones physically look and act just like ordinary rocks, their only discerning feature being giant “shimenawa” ropes tied around them. They can either appear out of thin air, or be formed out of stone pulled off the ground.
Keystone Control (cost: €350)
Move Object I (100)
— Ongoing (+100)
— Ranged (+50)
— Limited: Only on keystones (-50)
Protection I (100)
— Ranged (+50)
Inherited from her now-divine bloodline, Tenshi has control over keystones. Similar to forming them, the ease with which she moves stones around has diminished. She is able to move them through the air which, among many other things, allows her to guard an ally from attack.
Let Us Take Flight! (cost: €350)
Flight I (200)
— Ongoing (+100)
— Affects Multiple I (+50)
By pulling a keystone from the earth, Tenshi can fly through the skies by virtue of… just standing on it. It also fits more than one person, so a whole party can come and join the flight!
Keystone Danmaku (cost: €100)
Damage II (200)
— Ranged (+100)
— Affects Multiple I (+100)
— Concentration (-100)
— Indiscriminate (-100)
— Side-effect: Tiring (-100)
Mimicking the style of battle done in Gensokyo, Tenshi fires a volley of rocks at an area of her choice. She could end up hitting her friends if not properly aimed, though. It’s also mildly draining to use, and begins to feel uncomfortable after about ten uses.
“Scarlet Weather Rhapsody” (cost: €300)
Damage II (200)
— Ranged (+100)
— Ongoing (+200)
— Affects Multiple II (+200)
— Activation (-100)
— Nondiscriminating (-100)
— Concentration (-100)
— Side-effect: Tiring (-100)
“This is the Hisou-no-Tsurugi’s power!”
Tenshi’s signature move. In 10 seconds, she gathers such dense spirits that the mist glows an ominous, scarlet color. Then, either through her palms or sword, a massive stream of red energy blazes through and sears everything in a straight path. The intensity of the attack leaves her somewhat exhausted after its use. As a spell card, this is never meant to be used without Focus.
