Descriptor: This strange, mechanical bulwark is perhaps Kopaka's most novel piece of equipment. At first glance, the round, four-foot disc would seem to make for a poor shield. It has three rows of concentric gaps that might easily allow a sword or arrow through. The secret is in a connective adapter on Kopaka's forearm, which acts as a spinning motor. This motor can quickly spin up the shield into a whirling, lightweight barrier that not only blocks direct attacks, but can throw open an attacker's guard with its rotation.

If Kopaka blocks an attack that is too heavy, however, or is caught off guard, it is entirely possible that the shield will be completely knocked out of its housing, and will need to be reattached manually. Additionally, while the gaps are effective against most directed forms of attack, it does not protect Kopaka from area attacks such as explosions, torrents of flame, or clouds of acid.

Descriptor: Kopaka lifts his hand or sword above his head and gathers a shining, whirling mass of elemental power into his arm. After holding for a moment, the Toa brings his arm down and punches forward, causing a rippling, crackling explosion of ice to spread rapidly out in a cone in front of him. The cone spreads from the impact point to a maximum width of 20 ft at the end, filling any surfaces in the area with jagged, slippery ice. Anyone caught in the blast takes damage from crushing ice as well as pure elemental potency. These targets will also find themselves rooted and caught in place by ice that clings to their bodies, making it impossible or difficult to move until they manage to struggle free. Targets capable of generating extreme heat can break free easily.

The zone filled with ice persists after the initial blast, and anyone not hit by the initial attack will have their movement impeded as they slip and stumble over the frozen surfaces. In extremely hot environments, the ice will not hold and quickly melts.

The attack is very difficult to control or aim with precision, and the ice created tends to be jagged, and chaotic. Kopaka has no real control over its precise shape. Finally, Kopaka can only muster the elemental energy to put this kind of attack out once per hour.

Descriptor: This daisho of two swords consists of the katana called Morning Dawn, and the wakizashi known as Evening Dusk.

These blades were smithed from the remains of Miyamoto Musashi’s original swords, together with materials harvested from the wildlands of Kraw. The combination of high quality steel and prime monster parts ensure that this pair of swords is of the highest quality.

The surface of the sword is etched in sakura-flower patterns and the metal holds a pinkish hue.

The Odogaron claw infused steel of the sword causes extreme bleeding with each cut, further increasing the debilitating effects of each true strike.

Musashi has custom tsukas (handle-assemblies) for these swords, in addition to the normal handles. These custom tsukas make it possible for the swords to be fitted into her 3D Maneuvering Gear’s control system.

Details of the swords
Morning Dawn has a total length of about 100 centimeters, it consists of a blade length of about 75cm and a handle that is approximately 25cm in length.
Evening Dusk has a total length of about 85 centimeters, it consists of a blade length of about 60cm and a handle that is approximately 25cm in length.

The 3D Maneuvering Gear, henceforth 3DMG, is something Musashi acquired and had customised to her needs whilst on Kraw.

A gas-operated multipart system designed to offer the user unparalleled mobility in a 3D space. Through this the user is able to go in any direction, with the use of grappling hooks that are attached to wires. The user is then pulled toward the anchoring point of the hook.

The entire system is worn by the user through an elaborate, whole body harness that helps ensure stability and reliability.

Musashi’s 3DMG is custom fit for her, the sayas of her swords on her left hip, and a pair of gas canisters on the right. This allows a weight balance to be kept whilst preserving the ability to wear her swords in a traditional daisho-pairing.

The system is comprised of four primary parts:
The Main Body
The main body consists of two independently operating axles that contain the steel wire and hooks used by the system. These axles operate independently of one another, giving the user perfect control over each hook.

In addition to this, the main body contains the fan section, further elaborated later.

The hooks are kept in place on two separate, extended arms. These two arms are on both sides and on level with the user’s hip. They can rotate independently.

The hunters of Kraw have modified these arms to contain small secondary systems used to shoot different kinds of debilitating ammunition, known as pods. This ammunition shall be purchased as separate abilities.

The energy generated from firing the hook is stored to later reel the user toward the anchor point at will.

The hooks can be fired either alone, or simultaneously and offer a great degree of control.
If the system is out of gas, a hook cannot be fired. See gas canisters -section for more information.

Most of the time, the hooks will dig in and attach, but there are times when they fail to penetrate. Most often this can be remedied through the presence of the second hook.
Some materials cannot be hooked onto because they are too hard to penetrate or dig into (e.g. cast iron, steel), or offer nothing to grip onto due to lack of integrity (e.g. sand, liquids).

This is especially true on smooth surfaces that offer no purchase for the barbs either, such as a smooth steel plate. A section of layered plates could still offer a seam for a barb to hook into, but a smooth plate is unlatchable.

Shooting a person/living being with a grappling hook is akin to shooting them with a gun.

The Fan Section
A subsection of the main body. The gas is blown through the fan section to generate a powerful propellant which is expelled from the back of the device, designed to propel the user forward through the air.

The Operating Device
The operating device consists of the hand grips for the swords, which have the controls for the 3DMG system. They’re connected to the hook launching arms through protective tubing that contains the control wires for the triggers.

There are three controls in the handle: One large lever at the front of the handle, and two pull triggers built into the grip.
The lever is used to launch the hook.

The top trigger is a two-stage one. First stage pulls the user towards the corresponding grip’s hook (left grip for left hook, right for right). Second stage releases the hook from where it’s attached to.
If the hook is not attached to anything, it will be pulled back to its holding arm.

Bottom trigger releases gas through the fan section to help propel the user forward in the air.

The thumb selector at the top of the grip allows the user to cycle through the different pods and fire the selected one.

Gas Canisters
These hold the gas that is used to launch the hooks as well as propel the user forward. These can be either replaced with new ones, or filled with pressurized air, once empty.
Musashi’s harness carries two tanks, one for each of the hooks. Both of them are connected to the fan system.

The canisters are short lived and one of the 3DMG’s true challenges is using one’s gas wisely. While conserved usage of only the hooks can net a thrifty user a hefty amount of air time, using the fan-system recklessly depletes the canisters very quickly.

Staff Edit: A lot of this seems needlessly complex for people to write in moves. Could you put it in laymens terms? Also, I don't see how this causes Debuff. Also how is this removable? And what do you mean Limited: Hook can attach for the damage portion of the ability?

A military favorite, the Lancaster Springfield is a powerful breech-loading weapon designed for medium to long-range combat. The high accuracy makes this weapon effective against large mammals, but the slow firing rate may be an issue when trapped in close quarters. This gun is a single-shot weapon, meaning it must be reloaded after each shot. Arthur has about 8 bullets on him at any one time that are suitable for this gun; once he runs out, he’ll have to wait until he’s out of combat to acquire more.

Staff Edit: These abilities are approved as is, though if I might observe, adding an activation time to the arrow poison debuff, and weakness: close range targets to the rifle might help mitigate the overall costs.

Staff Edit: This is mechanically fine, but you should elaborate more on how it 'explodes' on impact. Does the explosion have radius? Can allies or Orion himself be damaged by this explosion? Either way, such a thing would require 'Affects Multiple'.

Like most Cybertronians, Starscream is capable of transforming into a vehicular form. Starscream’s chosen form is that of a jet— an F-16 Fighting Falcon, to be exact. The transformation time is nearly instant between “robot mode” and jet mode, taking perhaps 3 seconds total to accomplish.

Starscream is capable of jet-powered flight while in this alt-mode. Takeoff is nearly instantaneous and he can reach speeds of up to 105 miles per hour. Unfortunately, because of damage to his frame, Starscream’s legendary flight capabilities are somewhat reduced in that the experience is quite tiring for him.

Descriptor: Hoookay so I reworked the move in the following ways:
1: Added the TL;DR: section, for a layman's explanation of what the move does. I kept the full explanation while removing some of the bits that I threw out of the move. Once it's on my roster, the move will have images explaining the entire thing, so that if someone else than myself has to actually write it, they can see the thing and read it as well.
2: Removed the Debuff bit. It was just me overthinking how you would make a grappling hook work with the system.
3: Removable: It's a worn set of equipment, so I thought removable feasible. However, I no longer gain much advantage for taking it, so I removed the modifier to simplify.
3.1: Removed the Hook attachment parts of the move, to simplify.



TL;DR:
A complex gas-operated system used to fire grappling hooks. There are 2 of them, and they’re mounted on separate arms on both sides of the wearer’s waist. They can be controlled separately.
Can be used to pull the wearer towards the anchor point.
Cable length of 30 meters.
Gas is used to fire the hooks and pods or pull the user towards an anchored hook.
Former uses gas slowly. Latter uses quickly.
Once out of gas, neither can be done. Change canisters or recharge them.

Bottom trigger releases gas through the fan section to help propel the user forward in the air.

Thumbstick controls the angle of the grappling hook arm.

The selector on the side of the grip allows the user to cycle through the different pods and fire the selected one.
Gas Canisters
These hold the gas that is used to launch the hooks as well as propel the user forward. These can be either replaced with new ones, or filled with pressurized air, once empty.
Musashi’s harness carries two tanks, one for each of the hooks. Both of them are connected to the fan system.

The canisters are short lived and one of the 3DMG’s true challenges is using one’s gas wisely. While conserved usage of only the hooks can net a thrifty user a hefty amount of air time, using the fan-system recklessly depletes the canisters very quickly.

Descriptor: Hawkeye's bolt action rifle, which has been outfitted with an extended muzzle and a mounted scope for long range marksmanship. This gun isn't all that different from a standard bolt-action rifle from the early 1900s, the modifications allowing a sharpshooter like Hawkeye to accurately hit targets from a distance of several hundred meters with sufficient time to line up the shot. A shot to the leg from this weapon will pretty effectively trip up a charging foe or keep one on the run from getting too far. Even those with armor will feel it when they get shot by a weapon of this caliber. The rifle requires a manual reload every shot via pulling of its bolt to eject the cartridge, a veteran like Hawkeye can do this in a second or two, but this is by no means a rapid-fire weapon, favoring precise aim and impact over volume of bullets.
