Quest Giver: A SCARY NIGHTMARE!
Quest Length: 20,000 words
Quest Location: Mesa Roja
Quest Prerequisites: Be @Gilgamesh
Quest Description:
God, Uruk just can't win, can it?
Once again, King Gilgamesh is being bombarded with annoying mongrels informing him of problems -- except this time the messengers aren't exactly human, they are invading his nightmares. Suddenly, visions are flashing throughout your dreams of an ancient civilization of Protheans being systematically slaughtered and torn to shreds by an unknown force. It's drawing you to an old, forgotten temple just outside the walls of Uruk.
If investigated, you'll find a passage to ruins long forgotten by Mesa Rojans, where the Protheans originally settled, buried beneath the desert outside the city. It seems that scavengers tunneled their way in many moons ago, and though they have long since wasted away, a mysterious necromancer with an omega symbol sloppily painted on his robes, has used their zombified bodies to obtain the Protheans' greatest treasure: a Chaos Emerald. The Protheans are unable to rest until the necromancer is destroyed and the Chaos Emerald is returned to its rightful place in the main antechamber of their civilization's tomb.
Of course, should you defeat the necromancer, you will find the Chaos Emerald itself holds undeniably intoxicating power, and you sense that in the hands of Babylonia, it could bestow true glory... of course, in order to keep it, the Protheans' tomb must be completely annihilated, as their spirits certainly won't let you leave with it without a fight.

Legends Fade, As Records Show
Quest Giver: Ohm Zui
Quest Length: 5,000 Words
Quest Location: Cevanti
Quest Prerequisites: Up to 4 people; fought in the Siege of Markov or completed at least one Unmaking Quest; no extant bounties
Quest Description: During the Siege of Markov, the corrupted enemies were organized and directed by a monolithic mech, one that launched destruction as it pleased and that, when threatened by a final, desperate, catastrophic attack simply faded away, retreating unseen.
Ohm Zui has been digging for more information, and in their search has been put in contact with the head of Archive Inc., the largest independent archaeological & historical firm on Cevanti. After providing the CEO, Dewey Alms, with footage of the mech captured by Ohm's drones, the man drew a connection with an ancient vault out in the wasteland. This site was referenced by several texts dating back from before the End, as one of the Empire of Ilos's R&D bases, and as the origin of a series of mechs known as the 'Harbingers of the Void' by the empire's enemies.
It's not much to go on, but Ohm believes it to be a good lead. In order to find out the capabilities of the major enemy, they need to get into that vault and recover any data or files referring to this terrible enemy.
Ohm is under no illusions about their chances in going off alone, however. They need a team of warriors, engineers and flexible problem solvers, like any other archaeological expedition into the deadly tombs and vaults. They have sent out a request for aid, both to their fellow defenders of Markov and to the Medium, and while the pay is small, the payoff may be of immense importance.
The job is this: travel into the wilderness, fighting off unmade zoids, akata, and other dangers; breach the outer defences of this R&D base; traverse the traps and guardians inside the complex; obtain the information that is there, if any; and return to Markov alive.
[Narrative details: participants must write at least 5,000 words, but otherwise it is just a co-operative plotline.]

"Blood and Water"
Quest Giver: Ariel Pellbrook
Quest Length: 10,000 words
Quest Location: The Hinterlands
Quest Prerequisites: None
Quest Description: Those that choose to strike out into the Hinterlands know the danger associated with such a venture. Brigands roam the open roads and all manner of brutish creature lurk in the untamed wilderness. The Pellbrooks took this risk more lightly than most. With their bloodline having a natural affinity for water-based magic they were able to defend themselves easier than most travelers. Any would-be marauders or scavenging vagrants were met with harsh, and often fatal, rebuke. The Pellbrook family, led by their widowed matriarch, Ariel, cultivated a fruitful farm nestled in the southern reaches of the Hinterlands.
Up until a few months ago they lived a simple and isolated life, with Ariel herself fending off any outsiders. Peter, the second oldest out of five, disappeared one night. Shortly after his disappearance reports of a roving gang of bandits, led by a watermancer, reached Ariel’s ears. And to add insult to injury this gang of bandits actually managed to raid the Pellbrook estate in the dead of night. Peter’s siblings insist that this is just an act of teenage rebellion, but the cold-hearted Ariel sees it as nothing short of traitorous malevolence. While she cannot leave the farmstead undefended to go hunt down her misbegotten child she is willing to pay any capable adventurers to do the deed for her. Should you accept you will be tasked with hunting down Peter, disbanding his gang of brigands, and bringing back several stolen heirlooms. Ariel demands Peter’s blood, but his siblings implore you to spare his life.
