Descriptor: The absolutely radical ninjas of Doc's world innovated a new weapon that combines the sneaky attacks of ninja combat styles with something absolutely awesome. This is a miniature chainsaw that has been attached to a chain that's about 4 meters long - however, when Doc actually uses this weapon, it goes illogically further, up to about 6 meters. On the other end of the chain is a small iron counterbalanced weight that's been shaped to look like a fist. Doc swings the revved-up chainsaw in a dangerous but tight arc while on standby. He attacks by throwing the chainsaw forward, using the chain to generate momentum - then, he withdraws the chainsaw back into his standby position. He can also launch the fist-shaped weight forward. While one end of the weapon flies forward, Doc can use the other end in a spinning arc to guard himself (or anyone within 6 meters) against any counter-attacks.

There are some downsides. This weapon is quite heavy, and so controlling exactly where it flies isn’t entirely possible. Doc has to be whirling the weapon in a wide arc and generate momentum for it to be even ready to use, which takes concentration and martial prowess to do without chainsawing yourself. What’s worse, the chain holding the chainsaw can be cut (with some effort), thus rendering this weapon useless.

The black substance she spreads continuously breaks down matter, lingering for up to 30 minutes. Initially it dissolves at maximum effectiveness, fading over time until only a thin layer remains, at which point it will continue to eat away gradually. If one manages to survive direct exposure to the acid, it will leave an agonizing sting which can last a few hours. Lilith is by far at her deadliest when in close range. She can punch straight through targets with little defense and easily break down barriers of lesser metal. Objects that pierce her will suffer a similar fate, becoming useless if not outright destroyed. Additionally, the environment around her becomes hazardous, incidentally harming those come into contact with residual acid. The downside to this ability is that she can not control what she melts, making clothes and conventional weapons so hard to use that they're more trouble than they're worth. If a floor was thin enough, she could easily sink into it.

Descriptor: Pattern is a Cryptic, commonly known as a Liespren, who has bonded with Shallan. Spren are concepts and emotions manifested into beings, and generally reside in the Cognitive Realm of Shallan's homeworld. Manifesting in the Physical realm required extensive measures on Pattern's part, and he relies on his Nahel bond with Shallan in order to retain his sentience while in the physical realm. The Nahel bond is what gives a Surgebinder like Shallan her ability to utilize stormlight, as well as a variety of other powers known to the legendary Knights Radiant.

While in the Physical Realm, Pattern takes the shape of a geometric array of shifting lines. A pattern slightly raised off of whatever surface or object he is clinging to, blending in to the point that people likely only notice him when they are looking for him. He tends to move about along the surfaces of objects and the world in this way, though he can on very rare occasions separate into a floating mass of twisting lines independent of any particular surfaces. He tends to vibrate audibly when excited or worried, creating an unnerving humming, buzzing sound that can be distracting to those who hear it.

Pattern is a Inquisitive scientist. He is a very logical being, viewing the world from a perspective that many would consider alien, but possesses a perhaps surprisingly genuine and honest interest in things he doesn't understand. As a Cryptic Spren, Pattern is only minorly familiar with organic life and the physical realm, having had perhaps a few months to experience it alongside Shallan thus far. He has a great love of language and lies, particularly concepts that mix truth and falsehoods, such as sarcasm, metaphor, flattery and other tricks of speech. He calls all of these things lies, but with a decisively positive outlook on the word. For all his love of lies, Pattern tends to speak truths plainly himself, and is a decidedly bad liar himself.
Pattern is a scientist among his people. He volunteered to take the trip to the physical realm, fully expecting that his bond with Shallan would result in his death, but too fascinated by the opportunity to study the illogical and abstract nature of humans and the physical world to pass up on the opportunity. He is an observer, barely able to interact with the physical realm beyond the faintest presses of light objects such as the pins inside of a lock. His fate and Shallan's are tied together, and he will assist her However he can, but his primary role in a situation is to provide Shallan with advice and counsel.

{Note: In an effort to Separate this purchase into more manageable sections, Pattern is currently restricted from leaving Shallan, and will operate while clinging to her directly, instead of being able to move about on surfaces independently of her.}

Nahel bond:
Spren are emotions and concepts manifested into beings by the power of a human's beliefs. As such they do not adhere to many of the rules of organic life, and are not affected by many of the things a normal human would be. On Roshar it is not generally viewed as possible to kill a spren, damaging them will simply disorient and weaken them, and even doing that much requires unusual tools designed specifically to do so. However, as a being of the Cognitive Realm, Pattern requires a person to bond with in order to retain his sentience. This is the risk that makes Spren so hesitant to form bonds with humans, as the normally immortal beings make themselves vulnerable by tying themselves to a mortal and changeable being like a human.
The Nahel bond allows Pattern and Shallan to speak with one another without any visible or audible sign, though Pattern cannot stray too far from Shallan without his sentience starting to slip as well.

As a Cryptic, Pattern possesses an inhuman aptitude at logical reasoning. He can recognize patterns in speech and translate languages with a surprising ease, though he may complain about the illogical inconsistencies thereof in the process. He is very good at recognizing the patterns in people's speech, and is generally aware when people are lying to one another or themselves, though his response is more likely one of a pleased humming at recognizing the lie than any particular action at the recognition.

Descriptor: Chara summons a row of red magical knives behind her back that accelerate towards a target at high speeds, blanketing an area with a shower of blades made of crimson magic. these bursts of magic cannot be picked up and quickly fade once they've struck their target, but cut sharper than any ordinary knife would. Chara needs to put some work into summoning these blades, and as a result, she is unable to actually do much in the way of movement when using this ability.

While not needing to be completely motionless, she needs to be standing still in order to have the concentration needed to summon these blades, and can't be changing positions - should she be forced to leap from her position, or otherwise forced to shift her footing, the magic is interrupted, and any blades being fired dissolve in a puff of red sparks.

Lilith can transform all or part of her cells into semisolid, living acid. While in this form she is much denser and has incredibly high protection, with most lesser attacks failing to stagger her, allowing her to rush down opponents with ease. Her body has an altered, inhuman anatomy due to its liquid nature. One aspect of her normal form that carries over is her luminescent red eyes. This transformation is not instant, but has a very short wind-up. If her cells become fundamentally altered, such as in shape or material, they will quickly transform into acid.

Lilith is capable of reshaping her body into its original form with few exceptions. This happens in one of two ways. If her cells are damaged or misplaced, she can transform (if they weren't already) and reabsorb them in a short range to fill or meld the area. If she loses a limb, she can 'glue' it back in place, provided that she can still move. However, if her cells are too far separated from her body, they will not be recoverable and lose their transformative properties. Any body parts will melt into acid, although her blood will not. In this case she will have to produce acid to take the place of her lost cells. Whenever Lilith uses this ability, she can not immediately revert back to normal. She can restore her entire body at once, without pausing in the middle of action, however she will be slowed to a walking pace, and is unlikely to perform evasive maneuvers. While this ability allows her to withstand immense damage, she is guaranteed to be incapacitated if her head is removed, although it will operate if she is unconscious. Few things can keep this woman down for good.

Descriptor: Chara covers her blade in red magic allowing it to cut with a ridiculous amount of force. this strike requires Chara to concentrate negative emotions in her blade, focus them towards an opponent, and then strike. This attack takes a lot of magical energy from Chara - it also requires her to break her emotional focus - and thus, tends to leave her grinning in inhuman fashion after a successful strike, counter to her normal stoic demeanour. this leaves her mostly unable to focus on most of her advanced magic and abilities, and with most of her attention tunnel visioned on the target in front of her, leaving her open to attacks and with limited options to combine this ability with others.

Those actually struck with the attack are cut with unreasonably high force, but in all other respects the blade still acts like an ordinary kitchen knife - just one cutting through butter, and more durable than it has any reason to be.

Descriptor: The M1901 Mastiff Combat Shotgun was developed specifically for low-gravity close-quarters engagements. Descriptor: An ongoing aura of unease seems to permeate the air surrounding Klarion, evoking an instinctive sense of revulsion and fear in others. Due to appearing almost human, but not quite, Klarion is regarded with a cold, eerie feeling by allies and foes alike, usually within a 10ft radius. One noted benefit is that this effect makes enemies less willing to engage Klarion directly, encouraging them to cower away or ‘freeze up’ when coming into contact with him. The obvious side effect of this is that it cannot be disabled by Klarion to make himself appear more trustworthy, meaning that he struggles to gain the cooperation of others in even the most mundane of interactions. This effect only seems to impact the perception of organic beings, not robotic, artificial or spectral/intangible targets.

Descriptor: The more Lilith loses her mind, the greater her reflexes become. Her body is supple and she can freely present her flexibility, but aside from that, she only has moderate coordination. Mania, misery, or any mental afflictions will cause her Agility to raise, up to its maximum effect. Such feats include occasionally avoiding attacks, assaulting with precision, and nimble acrobatics. Lilith's mind is vulnerable; strains on her psyche are overwhelming and harder to overcome. During heightened emotion, she is prone to irrationality and uncooperativeness.

Descriptor: People are capable of many things when they work together. Everyone has different strengths, things they can do beyond others.
