Descriptor: Aster has picked up a rather...eclectic and diverse smattering of skills during her life.
• Tracking -- It's not an actual 'skill' per se, as much as it is just natural-born wolfish instinct. She's adept at picking out and recognizing scents and sounds in particular, and can notice relatively subtle visual cues of someone or something's passage in an area if she's alert for it.
• Computer-Fu -- It wasn't anything as professional as actual college, but Aster has in fact taken classes on the subject and knows her way around figuring out why something isn't working right, from the basics of "have you tried turning it off and on again?" to somewhat more advanced diagnostics to root out a potential software issue
• Bullshit De-escalation -- An unfortunately very well-practiced skill developed by necessity when you work in retail. Being able to stay calm under pressure and avert rampant bullshittery and conflict between customers or between a customer and oneself. It takes a level head and a well-versed dialogue. Sometimes just a simple "Sir, this is a Wendy's." isn't enough, after all.
• Customer Service Voice -- It really is all about 'how' you say things, sometimes. Most of the time, actually. And Aster is real good at putting on the fake, super polite, nice and sweet voice, tone, manner of speech and even accent to put people at ease and help them relax and have a pleasant time. It sucks, and it's exhausting, but hey. It's a living, right?
• Unarmed Combat -- She's far from what you'd call a truly capable fighter, but she does know the basics. Company-mandated self-defense classes and all that. She at least knows the right and wrong way to throw a punch, the best/worst places to try and hit someone, and other such similar basic principles. Plus some natural-born instinct helps her put her claws and teeth to use in a pinch, which definitely helps.
• Spearmanship -- Learned purely through trial by fire more than actual practice. While her only experience is with a trident rather than an actual spear, the same principles apply. Probably. She at least knows more than 'sharp end that way', even if she does do some rather...unorthodox and occasionally risque maneuvers with it, on occasion.
• First Aid -- Something her parents demanded she learn about. A step above the very basics, she at least knows proper ways to wrap or bandage a wound, how to properly clean cuts and the like to help minimize infection, and what NOT to do in case of most basic injuries.
• Driving -- Given it's her preferred form of motorized conveyance (because it's cool, obviously), Aster at least knows her way around how to handle a cycle of motors. She's no expert, and not going to be doing any races or such absurdity, but she can handle it even on less than perfect roads or in less than ideal weather.
